Install the agent

The agent is a small Windows program. Install it on the PC that runs your capture software.

Install it

1. In the web app, add a rig. The setup page has a Download for Windows (.msi) button.
2. Run the installer on the rig’s PC. You don’t need administrator rights.
3. The agent opens and asks for a pairing code. See Pair your rig.

If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”

Windows shows this warning for new software.

1. Click More info.
2. Check that the publisher is Astral Warden LLC.
3. Click Run anyway.

If the publisher is anything else, don’t run it. Download it again from the setup page.

After it is installed

The agent sits in the system tray, next to the clock. Its menu shows whether it is reporting.

• Closing the window does not stop the agent.
• It starts when you log in to Windows.
• It updates itself.

What it needs

• Windows.
• An internet connection. The agent only makes outgoing connections, so you don’t need to open or forward any ports.
